Located in the heart of Kuwait City, Al Shaheed Park offers a unique destination where nature, culture, and history come together to create a rich and inspiring experience. The park is home to two prominent cultural landmarks: the Memorial Museum and the Habitat Museum, which take visitors on a journey through Kuwait's history and natural heritage. It also features a wide range of amenities and services, including cafes, restaurants, bookstores, gift shops, a jogging track, and a dedicated cycling path. Spanning approximately 335,000 square meters, Al Shaheed Park is the largest park in the State of Kuwait, distinguished by its expansive green spaces, lakes, and scenic walkways that provide a peaceful environment for recreation and relaxation.

The first phase of Al Shaheed Park is considered the visitors' gateway to one of the most prominent environmental and cultural destinations in Kuwait, where green spaces blend with modern artistic designs to offer a unique experience for all members of the community.

It features distinctive art installations thata enrich the park's culture and visual identiti, a scenic lake that serves as one of its iconic landmarks, and a selection of cafes thta offer visitor a relaxing and enjoyable experience

Geography

Al Shaheed Park is located in the heart of Kuwait City in the Capital Governorate, on Al-Soor Street opposite the Al-Tijari Tower, making it a connection point between the Bussines district and residential areas.

History

The park was named "Al Shaheed Park" (The Memorial's Park) to commemorate the martyrs of the State of Kuwait. Its design embodies national identity through the Martyr's Monument, the Memory Museum, and various elements that document the history and natural environment of Kuwait.

Culture

The park hosts art exhibitions, events, musical evenings, lectures, and workshops in the fields of art, literature, and culture throughout the year.
